Parent aide is a para professional to help families become a safe family unit.

• Focuses on the relationship between the parent and parent aide.

• Empowers parents to more effectively parent their children.

• Helps prevent out-of-home placements.

• Keeps family units together safely

• Enables families to identify formal and informal resources in the community.

• Assists to gain skills and confidence needed to keep families moving forward long beyond their services.

• Reduces the likelihood of abuse and/or neglect of children.

• Can be utilized in combination with Child Protection Services, In-Home Case Management, or Foster
   Care Case Management.
